Bitcoin Ethereum Watcher was tested and optimised for low battery and network usage. To monitor a Ethereum address is for example useful if:
- you have a paper wallet and want to keep track of the balance
- you paid for ransomware and need to monitor movements on the attacker's account
- you don't want to enter your private key on a mobile device but still keep track of your balance
